  • Magnolia Cooperative Preschool (“Co-op”) is a school where all participants work to create a safe and supportive atmosphere, promoting growth and self-esteem for parents and children.

  • The Magnolia Cooperative Preschool was started over eighty years ago and is the oldest and largest cooperative preschool in Seattle. The purpose of Magnolia Cooperative Preschool is to further the education of parents in the principles of early childhood education and to provide a cooperative preschool experience for the children enrolled. We focus on the social and emotional development of the child through creative and cooperative play. This could not be accomplished without the partnership and collaborative efforts between the teachers, parent educators, and parents.

  • Magnolia Cooperative Preschool admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
